Alternative to Holoconnects: HEREweHOLO Holobox (2026)

The short answer

HEREweHOLO is a Dutch manufacturer of life-size hologram displays, based in The Hague and continuously operating as part of Vision 2 Watch. The units are assembled in-house: transparent 4K LCD panels behind hardened, anti-reflective glass with roughly 99% light transmission, with camera and microphone built into the cabinet itself.

Three things stand out for buyers comparing suppliers in 2026: HEREweHOLO publishes fixed purchase prices, works without vendor lock-in (the software licence is a one-time fee, and your content remains yours), and has deployments across Europe, including Brussels Airport, Proximus and ISE Barcelona.

Why buyers look for an alternative in 2026

Holoconnects Netherlands B.V. (Culemborg) was declared bankrupt in April 2026. According to its own website, Holoconnects now operates under new ownership (Filigree Labs B.V.) and is fully active (checked 29 September 2026).

A change of ownership can work out perfectly well. It does, however, raise normal due-diligence questions that only Holoconnects itself can answer: are warranty and service obligations on units delivered before April 2026 being honoured? What is the continuity guarantee on the Holocontrol management platform that existing content and management depend on? And how large is the current support and content team?

This page does not argue that one party is better in the abstract. It lists the facts and the questions, so you can put them to both suppliers.
