Renting a Holobox — or Holobox hire, in UK terminology — is the fastest way to get a hologram at your trade show, event or campaign: we deliver the hologram display from our own stock, install on site and collect everything afterwards.
The Holobox arrives as a single unit and is operational within an hour; afterwards it is gone just as quickly.

Rent, buy or lease?
Renting suits a trade show, event or campaign with a start and an end. If the display runs for months in the same spot, buying or leasing is usually better value; the full overview is on the pricing page. In doubt, we calculate both options for you.

Rental is quoted per situation: duration, location and content determine the price. Request the price list and you will quickly receive a complete proposal. Thanks to our own stock in The Hague, a Holobox is almost always available at short notice.
Renting a hologram for a trade show or event
What you rent from us is a complete hologram display, not a loose projector. The Holobox is a self-contained unit with a transparent screen, its own lighting and built-in sound — technically not a hologram projector that needs a gauze or screen, but a cabinet you place and switch on. That makes a hologram for your trade show or event practical: one power socket, operational within an hour and gone just as quickly afterwards. Renting a holographic presentation with live telepresence is also possible: a remote speaker appears life-size in the unit in real time and talks with the audience through the built-in camera and microphone.
Need content?
A rented display without a good story wastes the attention it draws. We produce content based on a storyboard if you wish, or you play your own videos and HTML applications: standard formats, no vendor lock-in.
Several days, several locations
A trade fair tour or a campaign across different cities runs on the same setup: we plan transport and reinstallation for every stop, so the Holobox arrives tested and working at each location. You change the content remotely, so you do not need a new production per city. If several units share one stand, they can play the same footage in sync or each tell its own story.

How quickly can it be delivered?
Often within days: we deliver from our own stock in The Hague. For trade shows we schedule delivery and installation during build-up.
What do I need on location?
A regular power socket and a stable internet connection. The floor space depends on the model: about one square metre for a Holobox, a counter spot for the Holomini and several metres of wall for a Holowall; we take care of the rest.
What does renting a Holobox cost?

Can I play my own content?
Yes. The Holobox accepts standard video formats and HTML applications; we load and test everything before the start.
Can I rent an AI avatar or digital twin with the Holobox?
Yes. A rented unit can run an interactive AI avatar (digital human) as a virtual host, or a digital twin of your own presenter; an AI receptionist for welcoming and registration is also possible. We set up the avatar with your knowledge and languages in advance.
Can a rented Holobox show live video and telepresence?
Yes. Camera, microphone and sound are built in, so a live link needs no extra equipment. A remote speaker appears life-size and in real time in the unit and can talk with the room: holographic telepresence.
Is there support during my event?
Yes. Our own service team is available throughout the rental period, and the unit is tested for the location beforehand.
Can a rented unit be moved during the rental period?
Yes, by arrangement. We plan transport and reinstallation for every stop, so the unit runs tested at each location and your team has nothing to do.
Can I see the Holobox before I rent one?
Yes. The units are set up in our showroom in The Hague, demo by appointment. Bring your own footage and you will see straight away how your content comes across on the unit.
