About us

We are changing the world of presenting and welcoming

HEREweHOLO was founded by Desmond Frencken, active for eighteen years and a pioneer in the development of interactive media and of the Holobox. What began as the Holobox within Vision2Watch grew into an independent company that supplies holographic solutions to education, retail, entertainment and healthcare from The Hague, in the Netherlands and far beyond.

Our team combines hardware engineering, 3D content creation and live production under one roof. That lets us handle every project from start to finish: quick decisions, everything bespoke and a single point of contact.

Where we come from

The Holobox was not thought up in a meeting room. It came out of Vision2Watch, where Desmond Frencken has been developing interactive media for eighteen years: interactive floors, tables, walls and projections for brands that wanted something visitors would stop for. The holographic display turned out to be the strongest of those forms, and grew into a company of its own.

That background shows in how we work. We come from the content side, not from reselling: the question is always first what the image has to do, and only then which device fits it.

Everything under one roof, and why that matters

Hardware engineering, 3D content creation, software development and live production all sit in the same building in The Hague. That is not a shop-window phrase: it determines what we can promise.

  • A change to the housing happens during the build, not afterwards
  • Content and unit are tested together, so there are no surprises on site
  • Custom software — face tracking, touchless control, AI avatars, digital twins — is built by our own team
  • For warranty or a fault you deal with the people who assembled the unit

Who we work for

Our systems have been used by KLM, ING, Audi, the KNVB and Deloitte, among others. In practice the requests come from four directions: trade fairs and events, reception and visitor guidance, retail and showrooms, and education, museums and healthcare. What those situations share is an audience walking past that never asked for information; the image itself then has to do the work.

How we approach a project

It starts with the question of what you want to achieve, not with a product demonstration. The storyboard comes next: only once it is settled what has to be seen can the content effort be costed seriously. We then build and test hardware and content in The Hague, install on site and hand day-to-day management over to your own people. If a hologram does not suit your goal, we say so too — in the long run that is cheaper for everyone.

Where we deliver

We build in The Hague and deliver throughout Europe; transport, on-site installation and support during the running period are planned in. The site is available in Dutch, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish, and we work in English, Dutch and German. For a project outside the Netherlands we take transport and on-site support into account from the start.
